Wen Deng is a chinese student come in Paris with the Foundation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris’s support.

She is doing a master in Pierre et Marie Curie University, with a speciality in fundamental mathematics.


“Paris has a long and glorious history in mathematics, this is a place I have been longing to go for a long time. These first weeks in Paris are very interesting. Life is full of challenges here, and quite different from life in China. I like the city and I am pleased every day. The courses I am attending are all interesting. The professors are fascinating and I learn a lot from them. And I like the library especially, it is very useful. I have already planned to do a thesis after the master in Paris. I think I will take a lot of from this sojourn here.”
