ICM 2014 : Artur Avila Fields medalist
The Congrès International des Mathématiciens (ICM) held every four years. This is one of the major events in the mondial mathematic life. The leading experts in the domain, are coming from around the globe, and meet there. This is where the most prestigious award, the Fields Medal, is awarded. The ICM 2014 held from 11 to 22 August 2014 in Seoul, South Korea. Once more, France confirmed its mathematical searching Excellence because one French Brazilian mathematician, Artur Avila, won the Fields Medal.
