Other programs

The Qube Research and Technologies (QRT) endowment fund finances a three-year doctoral contract each year as part of its sponsorship program to support and promote mathematics and science. This funding is in addition to the contribution made by the Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris (FSMP) to the doctoral schools within its scope. Selection is made by the FSMP through the doctoral schools, and does not involve a specific application procedure.

The FSMP and the FMJH hold the Math&AI in Paris project, which will provide 5 doctoral grants* over five years for thesis in mathematics applied to AI. This funding is in addition to the two foundations' contributions to the doctoral schools in their respective areas. Candidates will be selected by the FSMP and FMJH through their respective doctoral schools. On the FSMP side, AI-related initiatives are financed by the PostGen@AI cluster run by Sorbonne Université, of which the FSMP is a partner. This project has benefited from a government grant managed by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche in the frame of the France 2030 program, under the reference “ANR-23-IACL-0007".

*3 of these doctoral grants will be financed by PostGen@AI and 2 by the DATAIA cluster, of which the FMJH is a partner.
