PhD thesis award Zoé Chatzidakis
Zoé Chatzidakis was en internationally renowned mathematician, an expert in model theory of fields. Directrice de recherche at CNRS at Ecole Normale Supérieure and at Université Paris Cité, winner of the Prix Lecomte de l'Académie des Sciences in 2013, invited speaker at the International Congress of mathematicians in 2014 and invited speaker of the Tarski Lectures in 2020, Zoé Chatzidakis died on the 22nd of January 2025.
Aims of the award
The aim of the PhD thesis award Zoé Chatzidakis is to honour her scientific legacy and her commitment to the younger generation. A panel of experts chosen by the steering committee will reward every year a remarkable PhD dissertation in "model theory and interactions".

Nominations
- The deadline to participate is March 30th of the year following that of the thesis defense. The first deadline is March 30th 2026 and all those who have defended their thesis during the year 2025 are eligible.
- Nomination should be made by the thesis advisor (not by the candidate) and consist in:
- The dissertation
- A document (in English) containing the name of the candidate, the title of the thesis, the date of the defense, the names of the members of the defense committee and a 1-2 pages description of the dissertation
- A recommendation letter from the thesis advisor (in English)
- Two recommendation letters of independent experts (in English)
